Can I charge from my solar?
Yes, we install smart chargers that can prioritise charging from your solar.
Which chargers do you install?
All major brands. We can recommend the best charger for your car and home.
Can I just plug my EV into a normal power point?
You can, but it is slow and a standard outlet is not designed for hours of continuous high load. A dedicated wall charger on its own circuit is faster and safer, and it is what manufacturers recommend.
Do I need to upgrade my switchboard first?
Sometimes. It depends on your existing supply, board capacity and what else is on the circuit. We check that before quoting rather than discovering it on install day.
Will it trip the house when the car is charging?
Not if it is load managed. We set the charger to back off when the rest of the house draws power, so you stay inside your supply limit.
Do you cover my area?
